Talk about a winner! And I have NEVER eaten a REAL jalapeno popper in my life!(never expect to either when I can have this) Found the recipe here and was feeling adventurous-that and an office party I was tired of taking the same old stuff to!)I actually miscalculated and added more jalapenos and everyone (including me) loved it. Now I can make this stuff in my sleep!! Every time I take it to any function,it is gone within minutes and I am always asked for the recipe.One thing I do is put it in a 2qt. crock pot (on low of course) and top with seasoned bread crumbs. Dont worry about it overcooking-because it is ALWAYS gone before that can happen!!

I have made this recipe for years, and many different ways. I vary mine by using the real chicken chicken breasts and after shredding them put some of the wing sauce in with the chicken first-(it absorbs better and keeps the flavor hot) I also use my food chopper and chop a couple sticks of celery very fine and add to the total mixture before baking (yes, it cooks and is not crunchy) I use half blue cheese and half ranch dressing, and last, I use very little shredded cheddar. (some in and some on top)My family is picky on the degree of "hotness", so I usually split a batch and make half less hot and the other half more. NO matter how you make this recipe, its great!!!!

I have made this numerous times when on a "Time Budget".. I make a few small changes: using the less expensive, moister turkey breast deli slices (they don't dry out when baking) and I skip the soup and just use a jar of turkey gravy. Very quick, very easy, and still very good! Served with a couple quick sides and you still have a hearty meal.
