I made this for dinner tonight. I get tired of the same old things but my kids don't always like to have me monkey with the tried and true. This was excellent. I used stewed tomatoes so they had bell peppers and onions in them or I would have added them. I prefer spicey to hot, but I did add a healthy dose of black pepper and I thought this was excellent as is. Rotel would add nice heat. I used an eye of round roast that I cubed. It is very lean and can be tough, but after a couple of hours simmering, I didn't need a fork to shred it. Used the back of a wooden spoon and it broke apart. Allowed it to simmer with the lid off for a few minutes and I had a multipurpose filling. Delish!

I had never eaten smoked almonds so when I ran across a candy recipe that called for them, I went to buy them. Shortly thereafter I was looking for a more cost effective alternative. These are delicious. The one thing that I did differently was to NOT toast the almonds first. I just thought that 30 minutes at 300 degrees was plenty and I was satisfied with the end product. These were easy to make and took about two minutes to prepare for the oven since I left out the first toasting. I'll be making them again since it is the season for baking and candy making! I made this when I was looking for something new and different. It is excellent. My kids are not crazy about a traditional stroganoff, so I thought this might work better since there is no sour cream and no beef. First, it smells wonderful, I added a second envelope of dressing mix, however, it also made it a little salty. I think this could be fixed by adding the second envelope to the soup instead of the chicken since only the chicken was salty not the sauce. I also added two cans of soup thinned with 1/2 c.milk since we like sauce, and I served it over penne. I'm going to make this again today since it has been a couple of weeks since we tried it the first time. I see this as a regular in our rotation.

This cake was excellent. I left the carrots as coarse as the coconut and it was really good. My daughter said she had never had carrot cake that had carrots that you could see before. I left out the raisins since it would have been a fight to get anybody to try it if I put them in and I used pecans instead of walnuts. I'll make this again.

These turned out excellent. Having said that, I must also say that they are not moon pies as I know them. A moon pie is two flat cakes that sandwich a layer of marshmallow and is coated in chocolate like coating. Also delicious.And when you bite it the marshmallow is tough and strings a little. This is more like a Whoopie pie. Tender and cake-like and the filling is tender too. I'll be adding this to my collection and using it. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use cool whip as a filling or maybe even strawberry jam or whatever you like with chocolate that would spread easily. Delicious!

I made the filling with mozarella cheese and McCormick's Pizza Seasoning Grinder and pepperoni. It was delicious. 5 of us ate all of it and would have eaten more, so I'm not sure why others had too much and we could have easily eaten more. We're pigs I guess. I made Exquisite pizza sauce from this site to go with it. I had doubters, as I usually make calzones with everything on the inside but I know that I prefer this now and they might as well get used to it since I'm the one cooking and you get what the cook likes around here. This was excellent and we'll be adding it to the rotation. Thanks!

I filled eclairs with this and they were excellent. The only change I made was to increase the sugar to 4 Tbsps as when I tasted it before I whipped it, it was not quite sweet enough for my sweet tooth. Even with the increase of the sugar it wasn't terribly sweet but we liked it better. This is definately a keeper!

This did not work out as well as I had hoped. As I was putting it together, I realized that there were no herbs in it. Only the spices from the sausage and pepperoni. So I added oregano, basil,parsley,marjoram and a tablespoon of sugar. This helped. Everybody ate it but it didn't get the kind of appreciation I thought it would get. The cheese was a big plus as far as I was concerned. I'm not sure I'll bother to make it again.

This worked out pretty well. Mine didn't turn out greasy but it was a little dry, but that was easily cured with a little water. I did brown my hamburger with onions and I used my own pizza sauce. I also halved the recipe since some of the previous reviews said that it makes alot. They were right. I had plenty at half the recipe. I think that next time I'll add green peppers and other pizza toppings, this is a recipe that is easily personalizes. I think I'd like smaller pasta than rigatoni too. Frankly, I think just about any pasta that you have on hand would work beautifully. I think this is a keeper!

This recipe got mixed results. I thought it was ok. My 17 and 7 year-olds wouldn't eat it. My 4 year old ate hers, and the 17 and 7 year-olds, so I split the difference on the rating. I'm not sure that it's fair to the recipe though. I can't say that I'd change anything, it was tasty but I also don't think I'll make it again because of the picky eaters

This was too simple for words! Tasty too! I don't always care for the taste of eggs so I gave this a try just to see if it would make a good banana pudding. It made an excellent, and fast banana pudding.This pudding, a few vanilla wafers and a couple of sliced bananas and life is good. Thanks for sharing an easy recipe!

I liked this alot. It was a nice balance and the bacon made it yummy. I made double dressing since I had extra potatoes and it worked excellent. There were no leftovers.

I thought this was an excellent recipe. So did all of my kids. I thought the dough was going to be too tight to do much rising but it did fine. I got three 12" thin crusts out of this instead of 2 but I wanted really thin crusts. It stood up well to all of the toppings and had an excellent flavor and texture. Thanks for sharing an excellent recipe!

The chicken stock part of this recipe is excellent. I read the reviews and I understood dense since we prefer a rolled dumpling and they are dense too. But can we say lead-like lumps of sticky goo. They were filling all right. I'm still getting over them days later. Well, I'll stick to my Martha White dumplings but I really do like this stock so it was not an experiment that crashed and burned just not as good as I had hoped.

Marinated my chicken in McCormicks's Ginger Teriyaki, and grilled. I think I can pass on the cellophane noodles as they add nothing for me but I might try chow mein noodles next time. The dressing was surprisingly good for what is very few ingredients. I have a recipe for the Wendy's Sesame dressing that is excellent, but it takes dribs and drabs of about 20 different ingredients, so this was nice for the simplicity factor. It was a good experiment for a very warm January day.

I thought this was a pretty good recipe. Easy to make and tasty. I went with the whole pound of hamburger and I liked it. I think that next time I will add chopped broccoli just because I think it will taste good in it. My 4 year old that never met a soup she didn't like, ate 2 bowls! My non-meat eater ate carrots and dip and my teenager sampled but the rest of us were satisfied. This will be on the menu again. I accidently forgot the sour cream, but I don't think it was missed so I'll save the fat for something else. I also skipped the butter when browning the meat and veggies, I didn't see the need for it.

This was easy to make and it tastes great. I used semi-sweet chips because it is what I have and it turned out very tasty. We might think I've wrecked the recipe if I go to milk chocolate next time. I've made this again to have on the munchie table for Christmas dinner so it has to be good. Thanks for an easy recipe!

I cut this recipe in half since I didn't need the full recipe. Be warned, this is very hot. I only used half a tablespoon of pepper flakes in the half recipe and I have now added diced tomatoes and 2 more tablespoons of sugar to try to counteract the heat. My three year old will never eat this with it this hot. I also added a green bell pepper, just because I like it in my sauce. It was a very tight mixture so I added water to simmer or I would have been frying it soon even on low. The taste is ok, but I'm beginning to feel like I've altered it enough to call it my own. I've got to go brew tea to put out the fire in my mouth!

I'm not a fan of baked chicken, so I thought I'd try this and see if I liked it. I did. I actually used the rotissery in my toaster oven, and I got an excellent chicken out of it. Two, really. I roasted two of the smallest chickens, not actually classified as Cornish game hens, that I could find. I didn't plan far enough ahead to refrigerate, just stuck them on the spit with one small whole onion for each chicken and let them twist in the heat. I did cut the cayenne in half. I tried this for a change from the regular recipe that I use. It was ok, if a bit bland. We ate it, so it wasn't a failure, but I don't think I'll use this recipe again. I'm always looking for oohs and aahs, this needs majors adjustments for that to happen.
