We usually use a store bought batter called shores for making my fish but I did not have any left and did not want to run to the store so I found this recipe and I really liked it about as much as I liked Shores. My husband said he liked it too but liked Shores better but what does he know :)~ It was delicious and I will continue to make it for our fish.

I really liked this recipe and so did my kids but my husband did not care for it at all. He told me to never make it again. I did not use corn though I substituted corn for a frozen mixed vegetable mix and used cheddar cheese instead. I will still make it for my girls and me.

Like many of the other people who reviewed this recipe I was skeptical, but this was really good. I have a 2, 3, and 6 year old and they ate them up and my 6 year old said she liked them better than the traditional tacos. My hubby had to work late and hasn't ate them but if he likes them I will definetely make them again. I did change things a little bit. I did not have italian sausage so I just used ground turkey. I added diced tomatoes and the sauce directly to the meat and left the sugar out. The only taco shells I had on hand were salsa flavored so that is what I used.
