Eggnog Cookies III
I did as recommended earlier and upped the eggnog to 3/4 c., and did rum extract (plus a little vanilla for good measure). I added some extra nutmeg and sprinkled plenty of cinnamon and nutmeg over the top. Tasty!

Chocolate Spice Cookies
These turned out well! Soft and tasty. You jsut have to make sure they don't bake too long. I added some extra spices - maybe twice as much cinnamon (and I didn't have cloves so I did nutmeg instead). I'd like to try them frosted - maybe with a flavored frosting, because they do have a fairly mild taste.

Lentil Tomato Soup
I used yellow lentils instead of brown - could that be why they didn't cook properly in the time alloted? I also wasn't sure if I was supposed to cook this covered or uncovered, so I did some of both. The flavor was good, but the partly-cooked lentils detracted!
