Tres Leches (Milk Cake)
I like the fact that this cake is milky and mushy because I think regular cake is dry and dull. But, my goodness it is sweet! It tasted just like eating a spoonful of sweetened condensed milk. You can't eat more than 2 bites. I would suggest using store bought whipped cream rather than using the heavy cream because it just added to the sweetness/heaviness of the cake. The "whipped" heavy cream turned out runny and mixed together with all the other milks making it even more sweet than it needed to be.

Perfect Turkey
This was my first ever Thanksgiving turkey. When I told my family that I was going to cook the turkey without aluminum foil or an oven bag (like they do), they thought I was crazy. I think they ate their words when they tried this turkey. Although when it came out of the oven, it looked terrible (definitely not like the ones in the pictures), it was by far the best turkey I have ever eaten in my life. I hate white meat and even the white meat was juicy on this one. In the morning, the turkey was still juicy after being microwaved. I will forever use this recipe. I did not use any of the vegetables or white wine. All I did was brine the turkey and cook it by itself. I did not have a bucket big enough to brine the turkey in, so I used an oven bag. I put 1 1/4 gallons of cold water, 1 cup of salt and 1 cup of sugar and let it sit in one of the pull out drawers in my fridge. The extra effort of brining is well worth it. I also used a Butterball turkey (one reviewer said not to brine it, as it's already brined). Obviously I did not have a problem with it, so if you want a Butterball, get a Butterball!

Garlic Chicken
I love that this is easy, but it is a so very average dish. There are tons of better ways to make baked/breaded chicken breasts on this site.
