I am an early-20's mommy of 2 and military wife. I LOVE cooking, but some things just turn out better than others. I don't know if I'm more of a cook or an experimenter...or are they the same thing? I love pasta! Any kind of pasta. I also love baking cakes and cookies and brownies, but I rarely do because my husband doesn't eat a lot of sweats and my kids are too young too eat sweets. So I end up eating all of it! My husband really loves down-home southern food like his grandma used to cook, so I am trying to branch out into that. Everytime we get together we end up gathered in the kitchen. My Grandad is sitting on his stool in front of the stove and the rest of us are running around while he barks commands. Several hours later, we are chowing down on the best meal of our lives! Several of my husband's co-workers have requested "Beckham's Brownies" after I sent a batch to work with him. I also make a mean chicken broccoli cheese soup. WOOOO! Where do I start? It says I only have 1000 characters to use here, and that is just no where near enough! I keep trying though...that counts for something, right?
