I am a wife, a mother of two and a grandmother of four (who are all grown now) so I have been cooking for a long time. I like to cook main dishes that are hearty and tasty. I also enjoy baking desserts Certain holiday require certain dishes by our family now - creamed peas at Easter, Holiday ham at Christmas, Turkey and Waldorf Salad at Thanksgiving. My cooking triumph must have been the meals that I somehow managed to put on the table during the 32 years that I taught school. The cooking tragedies are too numerous and too humorous to mention.
