About this Cook
I am a wife, a mother of two and a grandmother of four (who are all grown now) so I have been cooking for a long time.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook main dishes that are hearty and tasty. I also enjoy baking desserts
My favorite family cooking traditions
Certain holiday require certain dishes by our family now - creamed peas at Easter, Holiday ham at Christmas, Turkey and Waldorf Salad at Thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumph must have been the meals that I somehow managed to put on the table during the 32 years that I taught school.
My cooking tragedies
The cooking tragedies are too numerous and too humorous to mention.

Fluff Dip for Fruit
Thanks for the best fruit dip I have ever had, Carolyn. I made the full recipe and froze half of it in the Cool Whip container. Took the container to the granddaughter's "U" graduation and snacked through the long ceremony with the family. Great!
