I became a full time single father by choice, about 10 years ago. I was determined to not raise my daughter on top ramen and hb helper. The more I learned, the more I found I enjoyed making quality home cooked meals. This site has helped me tremendously ! being an avid fisherman from Oregon, I love to make seafood, Salmon, oysters, scallops, cioppini, I also spend a lot of time in the summer cooking on the grill, and in the smokehouse. No family traditions, as I didnt start cooking until recently, but I have used this site for long before I became a member, have even raised my mothers eyebrows a couple of times I make a pretty good breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy, after years of practice....
