Super easy and very rich! I used low-fat sour cream, but will go with non-fat next time to make it even lighter (and reduce calories a bit!). I also used sugar-free pudding mix, and I substitued water for the liqueur. I think this cake is better the longer it sits. Great with ice cream!

I have been trying to find the perfect gingerbread recipe, and this is it. I added a scant 1/8 tsp. cloves for a little more spice, but it would be fine w/out it. Also, I used regular molasses because I didn't have light. Everyone loves this gingerbread.

What a disppointment! I expected something special and it just tastes like a boxed cake, but more oily. All those extra frosting calories added for nothing. It also made a mess in the oven. The batter measured fine into the pan but it oozed over during baking. Don't waste your time on this one.
