Pumpkin Turkey Chili
I love this recipe. I will make it for myself for dinner and lunches when my husband is not home. Very quick and easy.
The strongest flavor was from the ground turkey, the pumpkin was not noticable. I also made some changes to the recipe. I left the peppers out, added additional chili powder to taste and added a little italian seasoning. As the other reviews noted, this is a thick chili so I added 1/2 of a can of tomato sauce to thin it out.
I then took the left overs to work the next day to test on my Aunt who liked it but said maybe she would have opted for ground chicken or beef rather than turkey.
I cooked this for my husband who is a picky eater. He did not notice any flavor of pumpkin in it but, did not like it. I don't normally cook with ground turkey so I think that was his problem.
