Black Bean Turkey Chili

I thought it was great, but needed a little more liquid so we added some salsa and a little of the liquid from the tomatoes.

Ground Beef Shepherd's Pie

I really liked this, but I've never had it before, so couldn't compare it to anything like the other reviewers did. Though I did agree with one thing, it is only as good as the sauce and also quality of meat that you use.

Enchiladas

Didn't fry them, softened them in the microwave and just rolled up to save calories. Used Ground turkey and speedy enchilada sauce (on site)GREAT

Honey Mustard Dream Delight Pork Chops

I didn't really "follow" the recipe. I used all the ingredients and amounts, but I just threw it all in a bowl and marinated 30 minutes and dumped all the marinade over the chops while broiling for 7 min one side, 5 the other. They were sooo delicious, juicy and not too spicy!

Beer Lime Grilled Chicken

I read all reviews that claimed this bland, so I changed the cooking method. Instead of grilling, I cooked it on the stove top in the marinade on high for a few minutes each side to start carmelizing the honey, then put a lid on and simmered. I used a belgium beer (it was sweeter) I served it with the cilantro on top as a garnish. The presentation was great and taste also. However, I can agree that if this was grilled, it would not retain much flavor and would be bland

Polish Sausage Soup

I thought this was good, but it needed something, maybe some spices. I saw the other reviews added a few things. I would have given it four, but for over 700 calories, it wouldn't be worth it for me to make again since that would be half of what I would eat in a day.

Authentic Thai Cashew Chicken

It tasted like chinese stirfry. I did add lime like the other reviews said, but skipped pb to save calories. I should have put it in. We really enjoyed it, but for all those ingredients, we were expecting more.

Candied Kielbasa

I followed the other advice about it being to sweet -maybe that's why it's called candied:) and only added 2 T of brown sugar. Made it on the stove top. Keilbasa is already cooked, so It was done in 10 minutes. I did have to add a little water to the sauce though. And we loved it, and thought that the sauce would make a great coctail sauce as well

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

LOVED this! So simple. If you have a few more minutes, add some ginger spice, garlic, and a little lemon juice. My mom makes something like this with steak, and boils the marinade and serves over pasta, so we did that and it was GREAT!

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

This tastes just like the taco stands we go to down the street where no one speaks English. I didn't make the sauce, just marinated the meat put the relish on and squeezed fresh lime on when we ate them. They were PERFECT!

Poblano Chile Pepper Soup

I thought this was missing something. I used heavy whipping cream instead of milk and the texture was beautiful, but it was spicy, but just not flavorful enough for me. I would definetly make this again, but add some white beans and chicken. And if you add the milk very very slowly, you dont need to warm it first. (JUST KEEP STIRRING)

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I normally change every recipe to make it healthier, but I left this one alone and made it exactly like it said. It was absolutely delcious!!! And the extra sauce would be great on mashed potatos. I say definetly use the wine!

Mediterranean Chik'n and Artichokes

I Will definetly be making this again. I read the other review about the blandness, so I used an herbed couscous mix, and prepared to directions, and also drizzled with the vinegrette the artichokes were in. That made it really good, otherwise,they were right, it would have been bland.
