wasn't good like I expected it to be. I added a lot of seasonings after, too make up for lack of flavor. it was just something to make burritoes with.

this bread had a good texture, the only thing I changed was the shortening to butter. I think butter is always a better replacement to shortening.

this was pretty good, but I accidentally let it boil down a little too much... it turned into a sauce and so I made spagetti and ate it over spagetti. my husband liked it a lot more than I did.

these are great! no gamey taste...followed the recipe. but opened a bigger jar of jalenos so we could cover the meat completely to soak. did use bug chunks of jalepenos. the flavor was great!

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

great recipe, was very fast and easy! used the food processor to cut the butter and flour together. I used butter instead of shortening and added 1 tsp.sugar... was good and easy for top of a pot pie.

Chicken Marsala

I really try to follow the recipe the first time I try something so I can give an accurate rating. this was pretty good, but not the best. first thing I would change is half the oil and butter, so it doesn't "deep Fry" the chicken. just enough to seer the outside. then I would tripple the mushrooms and double the sauce and only use good wine.

Eggplant Parmesan II

This was pretty good, doesn't match La Vinga's, but its good. One thing I would certainly do is cut the eggplant thinly, 1/8 inch. it soaks up the flavor a lot better. and also bake them so they are crispy on the outside.

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

This was a very unique flavor and a nice change from the usual. I did double the seasoning including the salt. I put mine in the pressure cooker with 1 cup of water for 25 minutes. It was so good! but even better was the gravy. I took the juice from the chicken, let it come to a boil on med-high, whisked together 1 cup milk and 3 Tablespoons flour. then slowly poured the mixture in while whisking. Fabulous!!

This was a good recipe, I did use corn starch instead of the tapioca. it still turned out great, but I would still use the tapioca starch if I had it. I think it might be a different flavor.

this was really good. I made it more like a curry instead of soup, because that is what I felt like. I cooked brown rice separate for the sauce to go on. the only thing I did different was mixed the flour and some cream, then added it to the soup to make it thicken. was really good also added more curry

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

This was good simple and easy to make I will keep this one for lazy days! I thought it needed some texture to it so I added a can of drained and rinsed whole beans and some corn. I also added some extra salsa not pureed. very good and its healthy.
