Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Baked Fettuccine Lasagna

This came out pretty good. My kids and husband really liked it too. I omitted the bell peppers since the hubby doesn't like them and used lasagna noodles instead of fettuccine. All in all a nice alternative to the traditional lasagna.

Peach Pie

Very good pie! It did come out a bit runny though despite incorporating some of the suggestions here - turning off the oven once done and letting it sit & also leaving out on the counter for a while after that. Maybe the peaches were just unusually juicy??? Good pie none the less!

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Came out great! I did alter a bit though. I did half low fat cream cheese, half ricotta. I also added some extra seasoning to the chicken - garlic, salt, pepper, etc...I also had a mexican cheese blend instead of mozzarella. Will do again, thanks!

Poor Man's Hamburger Steaks

My mom used to make this dish many years ago when we were little :) This is a good recipe. I used bread crumbs instead of saltines ( didn't have any ) and it came out just fine. Will make again

Adobo Sirloin

I feel bad giving this only 3 stars when most other people seem to love it, but I just didn't think it was that great. I followed the directions exactly and it still seemed a bit bland. You're probably thinking how could it be bland when there are peppers in it?? Yeah.... I don't know either. It's not bad, but not great either. Won't make again, sorry - maybe it was just me??

Good recipe. I do agree with other reviewers that say the white sauce is unnecessary. I wasn't able to taste it. I did find this a bit bland although I did add some extra spices. I realize everyone has different taste - guess I'm just more of a spicy girl :)

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Awesome! Used this recipe a couple times when the kids feel like something sweet and we don't have any desert handy. Have used all different kinds of cake mix and "add-in's". Takes only minutes and they are delicious!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Awesome! I followed exactly except my pie was done much faster than what is directed. I cooked for 15 minutes at the higher temp and then turned down the heat for the remaining 35-45 minutes as noted, but mine was finished in 20 minutes at the lower temp. Maybe my oven??? Wonderful pie! Thanks!!!

Creamed Spinach II

Excellent!!! Only a couple minor changes....I used a clove of garlic instead of the powder, added sauteed onion, and sprinkled in some red pepper flakes for a little kick. Only took minutes to make too! Thanks!

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Good recipe! Unfortunately this wasn't quite enough for my family of 4 - and we aren't big eaters. I thought I had cream on hand when I started making this, but didn't. I ended up using milk as many suggested - not bad, but would have been better with cream. I also added some red pepper flakes for spice. Will do again with slight modifications.

Easy Minute Steaks

Pretty good recipe. I doubled the amount of steaks for my family and used 1 can of the french onion and 1 can of cream of mushroom all mixed together. The meat came out pretty tender. Will probably make again, but increase the gravy/soup. I made it with mashed potatoes and my family likes a lot of gravy for the potatoes.

Dessert Pizza

Awesome!!! I added cream cheese to the whipped topping as suggested by others and used pineapple, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, grapes, and boysenberries. I had to cook the cookie dough much longer than 20 minutes though, maybe it was my oven?? Definitely worth the wait :) Everyone ate this up. Will DEFINITELY make again!! Thanks Michele!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

My husband really liked this recipe - the kids seemed to like it too. I thought it tasted good, but I really didn't care for the consistency or look of it. I did add the cheese and stuffing at the end as mentioned by others, but it still was pretty mushy. Not bad tasting, just...well...mushy.

Shepherd's Pie Complete

Great recipe - although I made a few changes....I made up my own mashed potatoes and used shredded cheese instead. I also used a packet and a half of the powedered mix for my gravy. It made about 1 1/2 cups - it was plenty.

Rice Casserole

THis was good, fast and easy! The only thing I did differently as include 1 can of cream of mushroom as opposed to 2. It just seemed like plenty of liquid with that and the 1 can of french onion. Overall great and easy!

Hamburger Potato Casserole

This recipe was great. I added some carne asada flavoring to the ground beef to give it an extra kick. I then made it basically like a lasagna - potatoes, sauce, meat, cheese & then repeated again. My husband and kids really liked it. Will do again soon!
