Rice Pudding, Spanish rice, banana bread, cookies, tacos, and spagetti Our family tratitional dinner consists of meat, orange rice(thats what I call spanish rice), and beans When I first attemted to make my mom's taquitos I hadn't gotten all the juice out from the meat, so when I was cooking the taquitos in the pan with the oil it kept spitting oil at me!!! A big glop of oil spit on my hand! Do you know how much that burns!? Then while I was busy cooling my hand, the taquitos were being overcooked so when I finally took them out they were too hard and crunchy! I learned my lesson! From then on I get all the juice out and wear oven mittens on my hands for safety just in case, but they don't spit at me anymore.
