About this Cook
I am married and have a 3 year old boy. I have always loved cooking. When I was little I would find all sorts of edible things in my backyard and "concoct" meals. I always dreamed of having my own restaurant or catering company.
My favorite things to cook
Candy, extravagant desserts, mexican, italian, chinese, japanese and korean dishes, French desserts and pastries.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Tortiere pie for Christmas Eve and Crepes Suzette for Christmas Day Brunch.
My cooking triumphs
Swirled Fudge, Black Forest cake that was perfectly straight and a gorgeous chocolate souffle.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 17, I was making cookies and I mistook baking soda for confectioners sugar. They were both in a clear plastic bag with no markings and I was in a hurry so I didn't taste it. It was a disaster!!
