About this Cook
I am a native of New Mexico, though I moved away for many years. I lived in much of the South, new England, and even Sicily for several years. My family is my first passion, my Photography a close second. With a family of seven, including myself, cooking can be a challenge, in terms of making enough, keeping it affordable, and finding things everybody likes. So I am always looking for new ways to turn old standards into new favorites.
My favorite things to cook
Casseroles and crock pot dishes are popular at home, while exciting gormet treats are what i am known for at family gatherings.

Sweet Potato Balls
This was a very good idea, though I think next time I would add an egg and some flower to firm them up. I also used butter pecan syrup instead of maple. The cornflakes were my favorite part, very nice texture. This recipe went over well for Christmas Dinner.

Pumpkin Ravioli with Hazelnut Cream Sauce
Perfect... difficult to make, but I have had rave reviews.
