About this Cook
I am a 37 yr old mother of 2 beautiful girls ages 13 and 16 and I have been married for 19 years.
My favorite things to cook
I love to grill out when it's warm enough. I like to cook pretty much anything if I have the time to do it. I don't like to cook when I'm rushed, but as long as I have time, I love it! I also do quite a bit of canning in the summer.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings
These were really good! I made 8 lbs of wings for New Years Eve, and everybody loved them! I cut back on the cayenne pepper because I was afraid they may be too spicy, but next time I will put what the recipe calls for because they could have used a little more spice. I may also try adding a little more hot sauce and a little less butter to spice them up some. Thanks for the recipe! Also, as one person stated, someone needs to change the recipe entry because it states to heat the oil and then to put the wings in the refrigerator for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. A little mixed up I'd say!!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker
Amazing doesn't even describe how wonderful this is!! My whole family absolutely loves this! I've fixed it several times using thick sliced pork tenderloin or a pork roast and either way it is great! I use lite soy sauce and red cooking wine. It is delicious with the Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes recipe from this site! I did use regular Idaho potatoes instead of red potatoes, but the combination of these 2 recipes is immaculate! Use the au jus from the meat over the potatoes, and be prepared for a mouth watering experience!

Sweet Potato Bread I
This was really good! I did make a few changes. I doubled the recipe and made 2 loaves. I used fresh sweet potatoes from the garden. I boiled them with the skin on and then removed the skin when they were done. I used cinnamon applesauce instead of the oil to cut down on the fat. I also used walnuts instead of pecans, and added about 1 cup of raisins. Really good, and a good way to use the abundance of sweet potatoes I had from the garden!
