About this Cook
I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have four dogs and a husband that all love my cooking....most of the time.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make homemade soup! I'm into seasonal produce, so whatever is in season is my favorite thing to cook. I have a thing for chicken, it's very easy to NOT mess it up.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm working on creating some. I'll keep you posted!
My cooking triumphs
I'd have to say my Christmas Beef Wellington, mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. I have been working on my baking skills and I think in the very near future I'll have a triumph or two to report.
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to make thai red curry. I bought the red curry paste from a store and did not read the directions carefully. Well....needless to say, I added to much and the curry was so hot and inedible, I mean it made you sweat, so hot. We made reservations. Bright side? I got to go out to dinner! Mac & Cheese is the latest disaster, like a brick :(
