This dish is as wonderful as all of the previous reviewers have concluded. I followed the recipe almost to the letter at Thanksgiving this year; my only modification was to add french fried onions to the topping. I also used fresh green beans as previous reviewers have suggested. Simply great. Beats the standard mushroom soup green bean casserole variety. This will became a staple side dish at both Thanksgiving and Christmas in the years to come.

Simply amazing! This has become my family's favorite way to eat asparagus. I serve this dish at least twice a week, and we never tire of it. Wonderful recipe.

This is an outstanding recipe - very simple and easy to prepare but incredibly flavorful. I made it without any modification and served it with the Roasted Asparagus in Butter Balsamic Sauce (another favorite from this site). It was the perfect quick and delicious weeknight meal.
