I live in Toledo with my husband of 8 years. We have 2 cats, who are our children. I enjoy cooking when I have the time, which doesn't happen often. I enjoy trying new recipes, although I am picky in my food habits. I don't have any specific things that are my favorite to cook, but I enjoy using my slow cooker. And I am about to enter the world of using a bread maker, and I am excited about the prospect of homemade bread! One year I made the Thanksgiving turkey (brined!) and my family loved it, so now cooking the turkey for the holidays is my job. The rest of the family handles the sides and dessert. My biggest triumph would be cooking the Thanksgiving turkey for the first time. I brined it and did not stuff it, and it came out fantastic! Nothing comes to mind, but I'm sure there have been plenty.
