Cincinnati Chili I
Like other reviewers I also boiled the beef in broth first, with all the spices. Also added 1 T white sugar and 1 tsp. salt to suit our tastes. Although I am not a Cincy native, without these changes it tasted like "something was missing."

Broccoli Cheese Soup
My first attempt at Broccoli Cheese Soup and it was a success! Only change-up was I used Smart Balance butter sticks (50/50 butter/spread) and it turned out cheesy and delicious. A perfect companion for our BLT sandwiches at dinner tonight!

Beer Batter Fish Made Great
My first attempt at beer batter, and boy did I find a good recipe to use! I also cut back on the salt to about 1 1/2 tsp. Will definitely use this every time we fry fish! BYW, you can get away with pan frying this in about a half inch of oil! -- just be sure to flip after five minutes.
