Mexican Rice II

Thanks so much for this recipe,,,, Cinco de mayo wouldn't have been the same without it!! All I added was some chiles, habaneros, and Jalepenos for a bit more kick and it was the hit of the party!!

This was a good base recipe, but after a few changes it is a great meal!! I added chili pepper flakes and had to thicken it with cornstarch but very tasty!

Unstuffing Side Dish

I cooked my very first thanksgiving last year and this was the answer to my prayers. No one in my picky family liked the idea of stuffing in any way. It was completely gone before anyone went for seconds. Even my picky friends loved this recipe,,, i did have to mince the onion and celery, and omit the mushrooms because my husband is allergic but I bet they would be good as the recipe says too. Thanks for this recipe!!!!

Easy Sausage Stuffing

My family absolutely turns their noses up at stuffing but this recipie turned them around. I diced up the veges really tiny and cooked them so they blended in and added extra sausage and they all wanted seconds!!

Perfect Turkey

I was scared to death about making my first Thanksgiving turkey, but this recipe plus a few little extras was fantastic!! I just rubbed the inside and outside of the skin with a homemade herb butter, and used the bottle of wine on the bottom of the pan,,,, it was fantastic!! Thank you!!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Turned out really good! Just be sure to get dough really cold before rolling out!! I also added the extra sugar and vanilla, and made smaller cookies, so they took the minimum cooking time!!

White Chocolate Fudge

YUMMY!! This fudge is as easy as it looks and tastes fantastic. I love it, and so does my family, we don't do a lot of chocolate so the white chocolate made it great!! I used almond slivers (pre-cut) instead of pecans or other nuts and it worked perfectly!! Thanks a million for this tasteful alternative!

Cream Cheese Mints

I made these about five minutes ago!! They are FANTASTIC. I couldn't believe how easy they were. I substituted the oil for extract (adding a little to taste) but the consistency with 3 oz of cream cheese was perfect!! Try rolling them in Holiday, red and green sprinkles along with the food coloring, it looks great!! Thanks for the recipe!!
