These bars are delicious! I followed other reviewer’s suggestions and doubled the crust. I substituted the 2 cups of flour for 1 ¾ cups of whole-wheat flour and ¼ cup ground flax seed. The end result was a mild nutty flavored crust, which compliments the pumpkin nicely. I also had to increase the cooking time for the pumpkim mixture from 20 to 35 minutes. I enjoy making pumpkin pie, but with this recipe I’ll think twice. Thanks for a great recipe!
