Why can't you make mac 'n' cheese like a normal mom?!?
About this Cook
I'm a married stay at home mom. I have two great boys ages 3 and 13 and a wonderful husband. I love to cook, and read. We spend alot of time outdoors and play a lot of sports. I'm very family orriented and love every minute I get to spend with them.I was born in Galveston, but I've lived all over Texas and currently reside in Granbury (outside of the Metroplex). I'd say my life is pretty average, but seldom boring.
My favorite things to cook
I love trying new things. My poor family have been guniepigs more than once. lol :o)
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't know that we have any cook "traditions" per say, however we all love to cook and do it alot!! Anytime we get together there is plenty of food and fun.
My cooking triumphs
I make the BEST chocolate cake. It's a family recipe and I'm not allowed to give it out...but it's great!
My cooking tragedies
Probably too many to number and still counting...lol.

Tuna Snack Spread
Very tasty and easy! I made this for an after school snack today, and the kids (ages 4-14) loved it! I added some white pepper and subbed white vinegar for lemon juice. It came out great. Thanks for the post.

Lasagna Roll Ups
Very good. After reading the reviews I made a few changes. I substituted the tofu for veggie grounds, added 8 oz fresh mushrooms, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper and 2 eggs to help bind everything. I was able to make 15 rolls before I ran out of stuffing. My kids enjoyed helping to mix and stuff. Thank you.
