This amaretto is DELICIOUS!! I make it every Christmas, bottle it and give to friends. Everyone who receives it loves it!

This recipe is so salty it is inedible as written. The recipe is absolutely delicious when the salt is cut in half and garlic powder is used instead of garlic salt. Fellow reviewers, please rate recipes as written, before making major modifications.

This was my first attempt at home made egg nog and the results were fabulous! Before I added the rum, I set aside 1 quart of the mixture for a virgin eggnog as we were having lots of children for Christmas. To the remaining mixture I added 1 cup of rum and it was absolutely strong enough. Any more would have overpowered the fabulous flavor of the eggnog. This one is spectacular, give it a try.
