Not restaurant lo mein, but comes together almost effortlessly and is worth keeping as the ingredients called for are usually on-hand.

Very good. I was not expecting anything special and was pleasantly surprised. I appreciate the simplicity of the recipe - it's something I could easily teach to friends who "don't know how to cook" that would give them some confidence. Thank you for posting this.

I came across this recipe when I had a fair amount of homemade black bean dip I was looking to...repurpose. I used it in this recipe instead of the white beans, and it was near-divine. The best recipe I've made from this site. I later made the recipe as stated, and found it really good, but not "the best!". I will be trying this again and again, I'm certain.
