Grad school is over. I'm living at home again, looking for a job. Cakes, Chinese food I learned to cook in China. Mom's lamb curry, potato pancakes on Sunday mornings, my mom's french fries, there are a lot of potatoes eaten at my house. I've mastered the art of preparing a Thanksgiving meal. I usually time different parts of a meal wrong, so I'd always end up waiting half an hour for one last thing to cook, while everything else just got cold.
