About this Cook
I absolutely love to cook and especially bake. I love getting my hands dirty with delicious foods. I am a vegetarian and am always looking for new creative ideas with veggie foods!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, any kind of casserole or pie, or anything along those lines is great!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas treats!
My cooking triumphs
Not a whole, just being able to finally create recipes out of the blue and not being afraid to alter recipes I see.
My cooking tragedies
Trying a recipe for the first time and having it be a total failure, I know it's really bad when my husband won't even eat it! Good thing it's only happened once or twice.

Jazzed-Up Gravy
This was a good basic start. I used this for thanksgiving with a mushroom gravy as I am vegetarian and was looking for more than the regular canned stuff. For Christmas I decided to add a few more items to it such as sage and some ginger, that really added to the flavor of it.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'
I have made this twice now and it's the best banana nut bread I have ever had! It was my first time making banana bread and it turned out fantastic!
