Hot Caramel Apples

This recipe did not turn out. The flavor was ok, but the apples turned to mush & it did not look appetizing. The caramels looked terrible, dried, just yuck. I def think the cooking time is off. I will stick to baked apples.

Slow Cooker Lasagna

I thought this dish tasted REALLY good, and I liked that I had much less dishes to do than the old way. My husband LOVED it!! I hardly got any leftovers. I did however use some bottled sauce instead of making it. The main thing was that my top layer of noodles (they had cheese mixture over them but no sauce) were not soft. So I suggest when assembling your last layer, put the sauce LAST over the noodles, even if it's out of order to make sure all the noodles are soft!

Homestyle Beef, Macaroni and Cheese

Rating 2 stars as is- very bland. I doctored it up a little w/ others' suggestions like garlic powder, Italian seasoning etc. It was a 3 stars at best w/ added spices. I will not make it again, just not my type of food.

Beef Taco Skillet

I took the suggestions on the site...I am rating this based on my doctored product: I added 1/2 pkt taco seasoning, 1/3 c sour cream; black beans but chili beans would be good too. It really was tasty w/ the added taco seasoning. I did the tortillas and cheese separately.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

This was soooo good. I did not use store bought frosting, I used "Chocolate Frosting I" from this site and only used about 8 oz frosting. It did use much more graham crackers than it said- I used almost the entire box.
