About this Cook
Simple. Down to earth. Funny. Dorky. Successful (I think). Single homeowner at 25y/o. Love scary movies although I hate watching them. Love roller coasters and theme parks. Love animals. Love Doggies! I have 2, and I'v been petsitting 2 other dogs since October 2008!....so you can basically call them mine! total all in all 4 crazy and fun loving dogs. I'm the type of person who works and goes straight home to either fall asleep on the couch or cook something for my fiance. So while at work during downtime, here I am browsing allrecipes to look for what I can cook up next. And I absolutely love it when other people love what I made.....I sometimes wont even taste it yet until they do just to check out their reaction.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking things...casseroles, pizza, metaloaf, pasta dishes, brownies, cakes, anything that goes in the oven. And I also love cooking the favorites of my friends and family!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving and Christmas! Big Ol dinners! For Thanksgiving, we celebrate a Thanksgiving Lunch, complete with Turkey, stuffing, and all, at my fiances moms house. Then for dinner, we go to my familys house for an even bigger meal! I'm filipino so thats a lot of family and mouths to feed! On Christmas, my family has a Christmas eve dinner...again a lot of food. Then on Christmas morning, we are at my fiances moms again for a Christmas Lunch but fit for Dinner. Oh and not to mention, I love July 4th, because we throw a bbq party every year. Its the one time of year when I get to have smores! We have a great backyard that sits on top of a hill so you can see 8 or 9 different fireworks!
