I am newly married. I am in nursing school so I don't have as much time to cook as I used to so I have an increasing interest in quick meals but I love elaborate meals when I have time!

My specialty is cookies, particularly chocolate chip. I also am well known for my raisin bread. I love my bread machine!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas my sisters and I get together and bake cookies. We love to get together and make wonderful things for the holidays.
My cooking triumphs
I recently made a pumpkin-ginger swirl cheesecake. It was a total success! I also helped raise over $1000 in a bake sale for my sister in law because she needed hearing aids.
My cooking tragedies
Once I spent all day making this beautiful cake and it fell on the floor! I admit I cried a little.
