Blissfully married for 21 years now. Mother of 2, 19yr old daughter (pray for me) & a 15yr old son. I love the outdoors & our 3 dogs...Molly & Midge-beagle & Ziggy-weimaraner. I am a domestic engineer & proud of it. Cheesecakes & now finally SOUP, (see cooking triumphs below) I LOVE the Holidays, it gives me a reason to live in my kitchen. I really don't have any family traditions, both parents are deceased, but a few girlfriends & myself get together on Mondays starting at the begining of December & make chocolates & cookies. I have come to look forward to a day with, "JUST THE GIRLS" Each of us bring the ingredients for a cookie of our choice. What fun! I can finally make SOUP! I use to try. Chicken noodle soup would turn out chicken noodle stew. Love the Cream of Crab & Chicken Corn Soup recipes on ALLRECIPES.COM You helped make SOUP!! We cook our turkey on the grill, great favor, instructions had come with our Weber grill, one year, the only charcoal I could find was MatchLight, I do not recommend for grilling a turkey because they are so conveniently soaked with the lighter fluid (as to avoid needing fluid) well you have to continuously add briquets over the cooking time, long story short, our turkey tasted like lighter fluid along with the gravy I made from the dripping. Needles to say the turkey went into the trash, thank goodness for Stouffers frozen lasagna.
