No particular favorite, but love spending the day in my kitchen, cooking soups, stews, anything that takes a lot of time and affection to perfect.

Big New Years Eve dinner, and cheatin' chinese for boxing day.
My cooking triumphs
Rice balls, big hit at function last summer. South African lamb recipe I got from a friend. Absolutely wonderful. I have always hated lamb, the only thing I wouldn't eat. Am now a convert.
My cooking tragedies
burnt baked beans. uuugggg.!

Spiced Sweet Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
Fantastic!!! cost effective too. cheaper than buying. I used two large red peppers and roasted them myself. I also added 4-5 cloves of roasted garlic. and upped the salt to about 1/2 tsp. Everybody loves it. My neighbours too. Thanks. will definately be making this on a regular basis.
