I got my love of cooking from my mother's sister. She and I really get into making new recipes and changing others to suit our tastes.
My favorite things to cook
comfort foods....mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cassaroles.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making cookies for Santa and my mom's meat stuffing at Thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
A chocolate chip buttermilk cake I once made. It was perfection.
My cooking tragedies
I've tried to block those out:)

Tangy Cauliflower
Great recipe. I used frozen cauliflower and had no powdered mustard and it was still very good. Will make again and again!

Chicken Spring Rolls
These are great. They were easyt to make and tasted yummy. I sprayed mine with Pam and baked at 400 for about 40 minutes/turning them over half way, instead of frying and they were a hit. I also only had one can of the chicken in the house and that was okay too.

Simple Mexican Rice
I thought this was great! I used brown rice and tomato sauce and just baked it a little longer. Great texture and taste.
