About this Cook
I am a stay at home mother of five.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that puts a smile on my husband's and kids' faces
My cooking triumphs
Just put together an ENTIRE Thanksgiving meal completely by myself and everything turned out great! I think it was the best turkey I had ever eaten!
My cooking tragedies
Do we really have to re-live those? I guess that first one that stands out was when I tried to make Beef Barley Soup for company (because my husband asked me to!) I had NO idea what I was doing. It tasted exactly like water. Mmmmmmmmmm!

Garlic Red Potatoes
This went over well with the kids. My husband really enjoyed. We will repeat this one.

Slammin' Salmon
Yum! Yum! Yum! I eat salmon at restaurants at every opportunity but I think this was the best salmon I have ever eaten. Very moist and wonderful flavor. I only had the fillets in the marinade for app 2 hours but it was very adequate.

Five Flavor Pound Cake I
This was very yummy. It disappeared in no time. I used vanilla, butter, lemon, almond and a flavor from Watkins called "Danish Pastry". We will make this one again.
