Lentil Chili

This recipe was great - I only had 1/2 pound of ground turkey and it worked fine too. I added a tbs of paste beef stock base and it added a nice dimension.

Purple Plum Pie

This is SO DELICIOUS! I made it without a pie crust, and as I had plums that were on the sweet side, I reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup in the filling. What a great dessert!

Picante Chicken

I've also made this in a slow cooker with still frozen chicken breasts on low for about 3-4 hours, then shredded up the chicken with the picante sauce for a yummy chicken taco type salad or as someone else mentioned, chicken burritos. My husband likes to put the leftovers on nachos.

Minister's Delight

There was a little too much topping for us - it would be good to use a smaller size cake mix box. It was so sweet and rich - we served it with vanilla ice cream which actually cut the sweetness. I think it would be great with a Jiffy size mix. And it did take a full 3 hrs on low.

Pumpkin Oatmeal

how delicious! I made it with water, (increased to 1 1/2 cups) 1/2 tsp of spices, and 2 T brown sugar. SO YUMMY!
