I am married with no kids yet, but I do have 3 cats and a dog. I work a lot, so when I'm home I like to read and enjoy peace and quiet. I love to bake! (cookies and coffee cake especially) I'm a pretty basic cook - I don't like to have to use a lot of ingredients or a lot of dishes. I love making meatloaf, casseroles, chicken pot pie, and food of that nature. Pretty much anytime I try a new recipe that comes out exactly how I want it: that's a good feeling for me. My first attempt at pork chops! I scorched them to the pan so badly that neither me or my husband could get them unstuck! I had to throw the pan away.
