Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Wonderful- quick, easy, and delicious! I omit the beer and find I like the taste and consistency better. I also make it on the stove. I saute the onion and chicken and then add the remaining ingredients. You can cook it until warm...or let it simmer for a few hours until you are ready for dinner.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Great desert for a party. I like using the graham cracker bears or sticks on the side. It's quick, easy, tasty, and it goes over well.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Wonderful recipe. Perfect for picnics. Some reviewers found there is too much dressing. I find if you use an entire box of pasta, this is not an issue. However I do agree that the sugar needs to be cut down. I use 1/3-1/2 cup and add to the right taste. I also use Miricle Whip Light. I like the flavor and it cuts down on calories.

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
I've never been a big fan of sausage gravy, but my husband loves biscuits and gravy. We both love this recipe. Its quick, easy, and tastes great. My tip: don't crumble the sausage too small. Leave a good amount of dime size pieces (or larger if you like). It makes it look and taste better than what you get going out to eat.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
We love this recipe. The biscuits are everything we want in a biscuit- big (they raise high as they bake), soft (you can pull them appart), and delicious. We have them with butter and honey, sausage gravy, or with strawberry shortcake. My tips to having them turn out especially good is not to cut the shortening in too small, not to overmix the ingredients when adding in the wet, and not to add any more milk than needed.
