About this Cook
I am a navy wife retired. he put in 20 years. We have one child. My grandfather got me started I remember him handing me the shake and bake bag to shake. Grandma got me in to baking cookies. I started with her cookie press then she got me one and I was hooked. until I went away to college we allways had spritz cookies at chistmass. Mom had a great recipie for gingerbread cookies. I wish she could find it.
My favorite things to cook
Any thing new!
My cooking triumphs
Cutting up a phesant. We never had it cooked as a whole bird. It was allways cut up. I had watched my father do in year after year as a child when we got home from hunting. 5 years ago some one gave him some frozen birds. Dad dosen't hunt any more bad eyes. Any way he gave me and my sister 2 phesants each and 3 grouse. I had never cut up a bird before but it was like I had been doing it every day. That was the best phesant I ever had. first try for my husband and he loved it to.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs III
I Found this recipy a few years ago and had forgotten to write a review. Let me tell you I have used this so much for get togethers. Everyone loves them and are suprised to find out the ingredients but that dosent stop them from having seconds or thirds.

Pork Chops O'Brien
I needed to make dinner fast with what I had and this dish turnd out to be great. Husband loved it. Great Flavor. I will admit that I didnt have hashbrowns so I substituted tater tots (I didn't think crinkle fries would work) and as most know you can inter change cream of mushroom and cream of celery soupe. depending on what you have on hand.
