I am 31 yrs old, and married to a wonderful man.. I live in the south, where the food is FANTASTIC. I really enjoy creating new dips, and pasta dishes. My favorite things to cook are pasta dishes, fish, and I enjoy baking cookies,cakes,pies,..pretty much anything that can be baked, is right up my alley. Thanksgivings!! I looked foward to every year when my mom would cook her wonderful foods. She was an amazing cook. She made the best green bean casserole! I know it's just a basic recipe, but my mom, she could really turn it into something unlike any other. Mmmmm, makes me hungry thinking about it. I always wanted to make an omelet, now mind you I am a good cook, but when it came to omelets! it wasn't happening... I never could master it, until one morning, w/o planning, I just cracked a couple eggs, and let em go, and whatta ya know....I had made a fantastic omelet...haven't been able to do it again ever since!! LOL I made a banana pudding, and layered the top w/ marangue, when I was making this pudding, I forgot that the dish wasn't heat proof..hahaha...needless to say when I placed the pudding under the broiler, for only a couple seconds...I ended up melting the dish and it was a huge mess!!!
