About this Cook
I have 10 younger brothers and sisters and did most of the cooking since I was 13 years old. The first time I realized my cooking was appreciated was when my step mother asked me what I put in my spaghetti sauce because no one would eat hers. I didn't tell her. I now have my own little family of four children. Sometimes I will overhear one of my kids telling one of their friends I am the best cook in the world. It makes me happy to know I can put a smile on their face.
My favorite things to cook
Cinnamon Rolls Bread Cookies enchilada's Mexican foods chowders Canning garden food
My favorite family cooking traditions
tamale's on Christmas Eve. Clam Chowder on New Year's Eve. egg rolls on Easter Eve. Cinnamon Rolls 4th of July Morn.

Rye Rounds
These rye rounds were great. I didn't measure any think, but I think it would be pretty hard to ruin. I used just enough mayo to get everything to stick together. Everyone loved them. I followed another reviewers suggestion to toast the bread first. It worked great. We ate them with homemade tomato soup. A keeper!

Coconut Tapioca Pudding
This recipe is awesome warm. Since this is how we like it, It was all eaten. I did save a bite worth to put in the fridge to see if other posters reviews of it becoming chalky was correct. I just pulled it out and sure enough, it was chalky. So bottom line, if you like it warm, you will like this recipe. If you don't and want it chilled, don't try this recipe.
