I'm a uni student studying microbiology/immunology. I live with a constant fear of bacteria and parasites!!! I like kittens and my boyfriend, Sergei. I like cooking asian food, but I lack the skills. I'm from Poland, my boyfriend is Russian so 95% of what I cook is east European fare. I prefer to eat and cook with food that hasn't come from a box. When in Bulgaria I scoured Sofia on a Sunday afternoon for two hours trying to find the simplest few ingredients to cook with. The oven/stove in my hostel apparently had a maximal temperature well below boiling, and thus a strange concoction was born. The American kids dug it and dubbed it a now infamous 'oily potato soup'. It was a hit. I always break down and cry when a recipe doesn't turn out. A spiralling depression ensues.
