Pork Chops with Onions and Apples

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
Oh. My. Goodness! If this was not "to die for", I dunno what it. I'd recommend making more topping, if you have space in your skillet. I made basically triple the topping and people would have eaten more if there had been more. The family RAVED about this recipe!

Mexican Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Wonderful! The family ate it right up! I did use two boxes of corn muffin mix and it was "needed"... one would not be enough. But otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Less work than doing up all the fixings for tacos, but all the taste, and the volume of food stretched further than just tacos would have. I will make this again!

Sparkling Oranges

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
If I could give 6 stars, I would! Every time I make this, people rave and want the recipe. I double the "marinade" so that it comes up to the top of the oranges in the bowl. Sugar is totally optional. I usually cut the segments into thirds or fourths, so it's more bite sized pieces. Serve COLD, and the word everyone uses is "refreshing"! Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe!!!

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
Easy and so tasty! I've served this for several batches of company, and everyone wants the recipe. If in a hurry, I will zap the meatballs in the microwave before putting them into the crock pot, so the recipe takes less time. A family favorite now!

S'mores Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
Big hit with our family! We made it exactly as it says the first time. The next time we made it easier on ourselves and just put all the graham cracker crumbs on the bottom. Either way tastes wonderful (and is messy!). One way is just easier to do. Will be making this recipe many more times!

Quick and Easy Sauteed Spinach

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
Very yummy and easy! Followed the recipe exactly, just did it on the grill instead of the stove (since the grill was already fired up, and it was too hot to heat up the kitchen). Put the spinach in a big pan, and put it on the top rack of the grill. Definately use "real" parm cheese! Thank you!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
Like everyone else said > this is easily the moistest chicken we've ever had. I left the chicken breasts whole and grilled that way. (Just didn't have time to make kabobs, is all.) Will make this one again!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Excellent and very easy. I made it for Christmas Day dinner, along with some steak on the grill, and have made it several more times since, by request of the family. Love it!

Sweet Grilled Corn

Just the smell, unwrapping this corn after grilling, was enough to make our mouths water! And the taste was amazing. We will make this over and over.

Gyros Burgers

We LOVE gyros, and this recipe is incredibly similar. We make the burgers as stated in the recipe, and serve with tomatos, onions, lettuce, ranch-cucumber salad dressing, as well as feta. Wonderful!

Southern Style Banana Split Cake

HUGE hit with teenagers. (And adults who are teenagers at heart!) Had a bit of trouble spreading the cream cheese/sugar goo over the crumb crust. It kept sticking to the crust and wanting to pull it up. But I didn't give up, and the end result was a fantastic dessert! Thank you!

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I made this recipe as stated, and while everything worked fine, the family's reaction was so-so. I made it again subbing chicken for the pork chops, and the pan was empty when the meal was done. So clearly it's a good recipe. My family just preferred chicken to pork chops. I loved the ease of putting everything in one pan. Easy to increase servings if needed.

Pretty Ham Primavera

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
This was a great recipe. The non-pea-eating members of the family ate it. The non-mushroom-eating members of the family ate it. No one had any complaints. I tossed in some seeded and chopped tomatos because I thot it would be good, and it was. And I increased the volume of pasta to make the dish stretch a little. But I made the main recipe as stated, and it was great!
