About this Cook
To me, sharing food is the warmest gesture of love and support. Cooking makes me happy. Although I consider myself having spent my entire life actively cooking, I still have a limited menu and need to learn more skills.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies! I adore making cookies for all my friends and family - and they appreciate it. I have a few of my own recipes that I will continue to develop, despite my waistline's objections.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always think of my mom's Thanksgiving dinner when I think of cooking traditions. Man, she made such good gravy.
My cooking triumphs
I'm especially proud of my chocolate chip cookies, which get rave reviews from even the biggest food snobs in my life.
My cooking tragedies
I lost my apple pie recipe. The biggest tragedy of all is constantly being in a budget that doesn't allow for culinary exploration. I can hardly afford enough flour for all those cookies.

French Onion Soup VII
I used red wine instead of white, as per suggestion. It turned out very good! I piled on the cheese, too, mmm mmm. The next day my boyfriend, upset that I'd used all the onions, used the onions from the leftover soup to make eggs. They were very good too.

No Roll Sugar Cookies
These cookies were soft, delicious and wonderful! I used them to make cookie sandwiches with strawberry spread.
