I love to bake and my husband is not into sweets so that leaves me to do all the taste testing!! I am big into convenience cooking during the week using my crock pot and whatever i can find in the fridge and on the weekends I like to experiment with new recipes and make big meals. I am really into Mexican cuisine and that may be due to the fact I live an hour from the border! I prefer baking by far but unfortunately I can not live on cookies and cakes... It seems like every family even we have, and there are plenty, is centered around food and most time is spent in the kitchen. Making a perfect cheesecake, it took a few tries but it was well worth it! I don't consider any mistakes a tragedy really it is all part of the learning curve.
