Mom of two that are under 3. I like expiermenting, but do not have too much time for drawn out stuff. Also as I am overseas, I do not have access to many of the soups or sauses that many recipies call for, so I am having to learn to cook from scratch scratch... scary.

Lemon Orange Cake
Like others, I opted for different icing, but this was a Fantastic Cake. My first lemon cake ever, and now I will never need another recipie. Mag!!!

Chocolate Cheesecake I
Very tasty... and absolutely decadent. I did have a problem with the top cracking, though I think the fault lies with my ovens hot spot.

Quiche Lorraine II
Wonderful. It was gone before I could get a picture. Well worth the effort. I added a bit more cheese, and did 250 grams of bacon, as I had no idea about conversion rates from slices of bacon to grams.
