truly amazing - one of the best meals i've ever made! didn't change anything - just know that this recipe does take a while to prepare and make - i give myself more than one hour knowing that I'll be constantly cooking. Everyone young and old loves this meal!

We absolutely loved it. Really great recipe. However, I did not follow the original exactly just out of fear that it would be too dry. I added one can of diced tomatoes with basil and oregano mixed in and doubled the ricotta cheese. Really good flavor, excellent presentation. Next time I will shred provolone cheese rather than melt slices and add meat! Thanks!!

Absolutely perfect!! I used venison instead of ground beef, because that is what I had thawed and you could not even tell it was venison! - which is a major plus in my book. The flavor was wonderful! everyone loved it! thank you!

I have made this many times now and it never disappoints!! I've tried pretty much all of the tips on how to not let the top crack, but nothing seems to work. It doesn't really matter though, if your going to top it with a fruit spread anyway. I always use a combination of 2 regular cream cheese and 2 no-fat cream cheese and I cannot tell the difference - it always comes out rich and creamy and wonderful. Thank you!!

absolutely loved this simple sandwich!! I used 1/2 c mayo, 5T italian dressing, and 2T mustard. We thought it was just the right amount of everything. So much wonderful flavor you barely noticed the meat and cheese. Thank you!!

Loved It!!! We used Boboli's crust, Franks hot sauce and blue cheese dressing. I forgot the butter and it didn't seem to matter. I will be trying ranch next time as my kids said "it was good even though they didn't like the funny taste in the sauce." Don't worry about measuring the dressing or using the whole bottle. Just pour it straight from the bottle right onto the crust until you have the amount you want! So easy and so awesome!

This recipe was so delicious!! It was very light and fruity, everyone loved it!! At our families fourth of july reunion, I accidentally dropped it in the grass - face down of course - scooped it up, brought it in, put it on the counter and left. When I came back to get some food it was the almost gone! Everyone knew it had been in the grass, but was still raving about how good it was! Now that's a keeper!! Thank you!

I was just complimented on the good cookie by my son! Three notes: I used butter only and they are still good. Second: I doubled the recipe and made only 45 cookies about 1/3rd the size of what is pictured. And last: The dough is very thick and it is very difficult to stir in the candies. Yes, it was light and flaky. But it was a nightmare to roll out and get into the pie tin. It was way too sticky and ripping constantly. I didn't even use all of the water it called for and added tons of flour in the rolling process. I did manage to roll it and get it into the tins with the help of parchment paper. But it was way too troublesome and took an hour to roll, just to end up with a basically flaky but tasteless crust.

I don't know what I did wrong, but no one liked it. I used turkey kielbasa, ground it in my food processor, browned it and baked. It wasn't too wet or too dry as I used more broth, like others had suggested. But the kielbasa was a horrible texture to mix with all the rest of the ingredients. Maybe I should have used Jimmy Deans sage sausage?

This was the item that received the most compliments this year - as I tried a whole new Thanksgiving meal based on recipes and reviews from this site. I followed some others advice and instead of using only boiling water to add to the gelatin I used the cranberry and pineapple juice. And then I also used the cranberry gelatin. It wasn't soggy at all. Thank you!!

The struesel (without nuts) was an O.K. change to your usual pumpkin pie. I made one pie following the recipe and one pie following the recipe and not adding the struesel. Both were good, but I liked the plain one much more. It was very light and fluffy and not too strong in spices.

I really didn't notice a big change from our usual mashed potatoes. It was creamier, but not necessarily better for adding all those calories.

It was an O.K. change from the usual casserole recipe. I really liked the cheese, but I missed the mushrooms and creamyness.

This was my fourth try at a turkey for Thanksgiving, and my most unfortunate one. I agree with the other reviews that there was too much lemon/citrus taste in the marinade and consequently the gravy and everything you usually pore it on. Unbelievable amount of garlic required - I kept checking the recipe to make sure it really called for 3 heads. I marinated it overnight with all the garlic, but then roasted it with about 1/2 head left on it. I also did not roast it with all of the marinade and added stock for basting it, but it was still extremely lemony. I usually make the best gravy, and everyone was very disappointed in it this year. Live and Learn.
