Chicken 'n' Biscuits

Good on a cold night. I added a can of cream of chicken as well as some garlic. I would add rice next time, I feed 3 teenage boys, it needed a little more substance.

Garlic and Tomato Tilapia

I made a few changes but my entire family, kids and all loved it. I topped the fish with pesto and threw it in the oven, then chopped tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic and some more peston in a pan on the stove. Sauted it a little, 10 min later I threw all of it on top of the half bakes fish, cooked another 5 min. It was easy and very good.

Grilled Fish Tacos with Chipotle-Lime Dressing

I onlt marinated for 2 hours, used ziplock instead, worked great. I made sauce from here and a mango salsa from another. I also made Tomatilla salsa that want great!

Quick Quiche

I made two, one with Sausage, Moz chesse, green onion, mushrooms and pancake mix instead of flour. The other had bacon, red peppers, mushroom, jack cheese and flour. I like the bacon one better, but I think it is because bacon brought more flavor then sausage. All in all it was a great recipe.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I made a few small additions, it was very good, all 4 of my boys loved it. I added garlic to the butter mix as well as some fresh thyme. I also added frozen brocolli florets to the potatoe as the boiled. I used 1/2 chicken broth 1/2 water for more flavor. I added cheese to the bowls at the end, it was great!

Sweet and Sour Pepper Pork

I didnt have white wine so I used chicken broth in place of the wine and the water. I also used a cider ginegar instead. I added a mixture of red, yellow and green peppers and served over brown rice.

Sauteed Swiss Chard with Parmesan Cheese

very good! My first shot at Swiss Chard, my son planted it in my garden! All the kids loved it and my mother in-law! I followed direction and added some yellow pepper because I had it. A word to the wise, a bunch of swiss chard does not go a long way, it shrinks to make small servings.

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

Excellent. Doubled the ingredients, but didnt end up using, or needing all of the oil. I also added fresh rosemary and a dash of lemon juice! I poured it into ice cube trays to save for individual servings... My kids love it!

it was good. Nothing amazing, however it was very easy. I used green chile instead of salsa. Also, it needs to re-heat longet then 20 min. I would say closer to 30.

Ground Turkey Casserole

We liked this.. I used an entire jar of tom sauce, as well as 1 can chopped tom. I subsituted the sour cream for low fat yogurt, I also added chesse to the top and then covered while I cooked it. It was a little runny, but over all good.

Linguini with White Clam Sauce

Made for the in-laws. Was good, needed a little extra zing but still a big hit. I added an extra can of whole baby clams, used extra garlic, added mushrooms, used 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk, topped with parsley and parm chesse.

Avocado Soup with Chicken and Lime

I got creative, I added cheese to the tortilla chips and then baked them. I also cut up litte squares of montery jack at the end and add them to the hot soup right before serving. I also used red onion, a little extra lime. I made for 6 it suggested 1 1/12 avocado? I used 3. Entire family loved it.
