About this Cook
Cooking is relaxing for me. I enjoy cooking for friends. Both my Mom and Grandmother are/were incredible cooks and I have learned a lot from them.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook ethnic foods and yummy appetizers. I like to replicate my favorite restaurant dishes at home. I'm still learning to be patient enough to be a good baker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's almond coffee cake for Christmas and Easter mornings. Cooking a big dinner with my twins Nicholas and Natalie. They have been helping me in the kitchen since before they were two.
My cooking triumphs
I just made beautiful cream puffs for a school auction. My baked macaroni and cheese is requested by my daughter nearly daily and my friends' husbands often.
My cooking tragedies
Leaving a burner on and melting a plastic bowl.

Cream Puffs
Awesome recipe. The tip on using a toothpick was really helpful. I also found that baking until they are dry is essential. The cream filling is delicious and SO easy. I used the white chocolate pudding variation and it was a hit. I drizzled white chocolate over them and used fresh raspberries to decorate. Can't wait to make it again.
