Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
WOW! The easiest chicken parmesan I have ever made- I used Italian Seasoning instead of Basil and it was perfect! It took minutes to put together and cook and dinner was served- thanks so much for this great recipe!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
WOW! The best chocolate cake I have had in A LONG TIME! This tastes much better than my local bakery. I used lowfat sour cream and I only had two 1.7 oz. boxes of chocolate pudding mix. It worked! I also used the Satiny Chocolate Glaze on top, which made it awesome! I have chocolate "issues" and this definitely satisfies my cravings for chocolate! This was the easiest recipe to make and I will keep it in my recipe box FOREVER! Thanks so much!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This was FANTASTIC. As other reviewers recommended, I microwaved this in 30 second increments and it took no time at all to make. It was delicious over the Too Much Chocolate Cake (also from this site). Both were so easy to make and it was delicious! This is a keeper!

New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
OK, before making this, I had never made cheesecake. I usually buy my cheesecake at the store. I have to say, this was AWESOME!!!! I made a few adjustments thanks to everyone's reviews. I added some vanilla, only used 4 eggs (still used the 2 egg yolks though), used regular whipping cream and low-fat cream cheese. I thoroughly sprayed my springform pan with Pam. The key I believe is leaving the cheesecake in the oven without opening it for the one hour of cooking and one hour of cooling off. I can't begin to describe the amount of willpower it took NOT to open the oven. When I was done, there were NO CRACKS! I refrigerated it overnight and VOILA.....an AWESOME CHEESECAKE that I will keep in my recipe box forever. The best part....it was so easy to make....thanks so much for this great recipe!

Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2007
OK- instead of kiwi, I added a few pieces of frozen mango. Also, in a Dixie cup, I froze (overnight) a 1/2 cup of fat-free vanilla yogurt. Combined all of this w/ 6 frozen strawberries, 3/4 cup of pineapple juice and a banana and it was FANTASTIC! This will be my permanent new smoothie recipe. It was SO easy to make and very healthy. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 27, 2007
WOW!! So easy to make....I marinated this for about 26 hours and threw the whole boneless chicken breast on the charcoal grill. It was EXCELLENT! Very subtle flavor and so tasty! I will be using this for a long time. UPDATE- I used this recipe again tonight using NY Strip steak and added 1/4 cup pineapple juice....Got rave reviews from my guests....Thanks so much!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

I thought the batter was a little too thick & difficult to work with. My husband & I didn't really care for these. There was little flavor. We won't be making these again.

Cheesecake Dreams

Thanks so much for this recipe.....my mother used to make these EVERY Christmas while we were growing up and I hadn't been able to find the recipe until now....(don't know if it is the same one, but it tastes the same)! AND....this is so quick and easy to make.....this will be in my permanent holiday recipe box! By the way, I omitted the nuts since the hubby doesn't like them and used reduced fat cream cheese. Delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2006
I wouldn't call the taste "amazing", but I would call the ease and speed of this recipe "amazing". The chicken was pretty good....but, I will but will probably add some additional spices the next time I make it. Thanks for the quick recipe. A definite keeper!

Perfect Baked Potato

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2006
Very easy and skin tasted great...only thing is that it takes a LOT longer than 90 minutes to cook. I only used one large potato, but it took an extra 30 minutes at 375 degrees to cook fully. It is worth the wait!

Hawaiian Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2005
This was really good. I used fresh chicken breast, left it in terriyaki marinade overnight and grilled it (great flavor). I don't think canned chicked would be that great with these ingredients. I also added mandarin oranges (great combo w/ the grapes and pineapple). Didn't have almonds, but it tasted good anyway. Also used fat free cream cheese! I think the KEY to this recipe is to make it and let it sit in the fridge OVERNIGHT. All of the flavors blend and it is to die for. This is a keeper! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic marinade- I used white wine vinegar instead of balsamic (that's all I had). My family loved it. Marinated for about 20 hours and had great flavor. Thanks for the great recipe! It's a keeper!

Easy Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2003
I hadn't read the other reviews before making it, but it sounded easy. I was trying to cook up some ground beef I had that was about to spoil if I didn't use it. I added fresh minced garlic to the ground beef and some garlic powder to the sauce mixture. It was so easy and tasted good. Thanks so much for the great recipe-I will make it again!

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2002
I like the idea of using cream cheese and sour cream in mashed potatoes. They give the potatoes great flavor. However, I had to add a WHOLE LOT of butter and salt. Also, after refrigerating them overnight, I had to add milk/cream to make them moist again, because were very dry. I would make them again, but I would probably not make them the night before.
